not that the world really cares
i havent got myself into another dumb fight

not like anyone would give a damn
i guess i'd just look back on yesterday

everything's alright
nothing's the matter
apart from the fact
that everything's in tatters

the world's falling apart around us
but everyone else seems comatose
would someone please wake up
and look at the state we're in

nothing's wrong
not like any eyebrow would be raised
the world would just quietly move along
